Texture Tuesday--Free and Easy Edition

A photo of some rain drops on day lily leaves. I used Kim's 'take heart' and 'nesting' textures on this.

  3. this is really wonderful!! I am supposing you had to use macro??? I was fiddling with my camera the other day to see what all I can DO with it as I keep reading about people using macro... I don't pretend to understand any of it any better, but I am glad for the learning!!

    1. Currie, yes, this is shot with my macro lens on my dSLR camera. The lens is the Canon 100mm f/2.8L IS lens and it is by far the favorite lens that I have. Macro lenses are not the only way to get good close-up images, though. I recommend the book "Understanding Close-up Photography" by Bryan Peterson. It's a great introduction. Thanks for your comment!
